Ismaros Hotel - Maroneia (Rhodope)

The area near the hotel was quiet, which was a plus. We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the drinks offered at dinner were top-notch. the breakfast was good and there was plenty of food available.

The wifi signal in the hotel was very poor, making it difficult to stay connected. some of the pool's amenities were in need of repair and seemed neglected.

I was there in mid-April - I think about a month before the Greek holiday season really got underway - and the hotel didn't have all the services I was hoping for. The pool was not yet filled, the restaurant wasn't functioning and more importantly for me, the wifi wasn't connected. I needed to maintain contact with my business back in New Zealand, so I had to ride 30kms each day into a local town to get wifi access.If I had known about the wifi, I wouldn't have stayed there. However, I realise that in the holiday season, all these would be operational.

It had an excellent location right next to the beach in a great area. I was impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel had good and fast service and a large parking available at location.

The food was excellent, staff was great, good location near the sea, private beach with free amenities, generous parking space, free bikes available.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location is perfect, as it is very close to the sea, allowing us to enjoy stunning views from our large balcony. The staff at this venue were incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with valuable advice on the local area and even recommending great restaurants. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a super silent air conditioning system that ensured a restful night's sleep. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast served every morning, which had a good variety of options. Additionally, the hotel provided ample parking space and had plenty of areas for children to play around the swimming pool.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and luxurious stay.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this hotel is perfect. It is located in a little remote area, thus providing great solitude for their guests to relax. the hotel has a perfect location very close to the beach, and you can hear the calming sound of waves from your room. Rooms are very clean, well-furnished, comfortable and serviced regularly. Staff are polite, friendly and always eager to help. Breakfast is rich and varied enough to cater to all tastes. To top it all, there's a wide range of facilities including quality restaurants, swimming pool with sea views, and beach bars.

The hotel is relatively far away from town or village, so guests couldn't go shopping or eat out in other restaurants.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the excellent food and the beautiful pool. The hotel is located close to the beach, making it easy to go for a walk by the sea. the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There were some aspects we were not happy with. The rooms were not as clean as we would have liked, and the Wi-Fi connection was not strong enough.
